How to fax from your phone

You do not need a fax machine or an app. Scan the page, save a PDF, upload it.

Scan the paper

• iPhone or iPad: open Notes, tap the camera icon, choose Scan Documents, then save the scan and export it as a PDF.
• Android: open Google Drive, tap the plus button, choose Scan, then save the result as a PDF.

Lay the page flat in good light. Dark text on a plain background faxes best, because fax is black and white.

Send it

1. Open FaxTheWeb in your phone’s browser and choose the PDF from your files.
2. Pick the country and enter the fax number.
3. Check the total, pay once, and keep the status link.

Tips

• Check that every page is readable before you upload. Small print and light pencil can disappear in a fax.
• Combine pages into one PDF so the recipient gets a single document.
